Item The experimental study of pharmaceutical composition piroxicam and caffeine(Scientific Educational Center Warsaw, Poland, 2017-11-18) Syrovaya, Anna; Lukianova, Larysa; Kolesnyk, Maria; Adamu, IsaakaIn an experiment on rats, the effects of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent of the group of oxicams piroxicam, caffeine and their composition on emotional-behavioral reactions under formalin edema were conducted. Evaluation of drug’s and their compositions influence on characteristics of animal’s behavior was done by comparison remedies with control and with formalin edema. Observation of the parameters of routine research activity in the "open field" test and the multi-parameter method for evaluating anxiety-phobic states was carried out according to the generally accepted method. The analysis of the results of experimental studies indicates that caffeine increases the activity of piroxicam relatively to horizontal and vertical motion activity, cognitive activity, grooming and the number of urinations in rats under formalin edema. The results of research can be the basis for the development of new domestic combined medicines.Item Experimental substantiation for new medicinal compositions design(ORT Publishing, 2016) Syrovaya, Anna; Grabovetskaya, EvgeniyaAnalgesic and antiexudative activities of paracetamol and carbamazepine combinations with caffeine are examined in the experiment on laboratory rats. It is shown that caffeine potentiates antiexudative and analgesic activities of paracetamol and carbamazepine. The composition of paracetamol with caffeine is found to be the most effective among all investigated compounds.Item Experimental study of caffeine influence on antiexudative activity of known NSAIDs of different chemical structure(2015-09) Syrovaya, Anna; Grabovetskaya, EvgeniyaAntiexudative activity of combinations of some anti-inflammatory drugs with caffeine is shown in the experiment. It is found that caffeine potentiates antiexudative activity of diclofenac sodium, ibuprofen and paracetamol. It is discovered that the composition of caffeine with ibuprofen has more intensive antiexudative effect than the composition of caffeine with diclofenac sodium and paracetamol.Item Creation of new drug compositions and pharmacological substantiation of their suitability for pain syndromes and inflammations in experimental rats(ХНМУ, 2014-10) Syrovaya, Anna; Bachinsky, Ruslan; Grabovetskaya, EvgeniyaCreation of combined drugs whose pharmacological effects are due to the rational combination of ingredients is the urgent problem of modern medicine. Combination of several components in one drug expands its pharmacological range and promotes polytropic activity. The advantage of combined drugs compared with pure drugs is that they more effectively eliminate pain and inflammation than each individual component. Combined analgesics often include caffeine. According to literature data caffeine enhances analgesic effect of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and nonnarcotic analgesics (NNA). However, there are no data on the composition of diclofenac sodium (D-Na), ibuprofen (Ib) with caffeine in the literature. This fact caused experimental studies of influence of caffeine on the analgesic and anti-exudative effects of D-Na and Ib. Experimental studies have been conducted on laboratory animals (white adult rats of the WAG strain) by intragastric administration. Analysis of experimental results clearly indicates that caffeine potentiates analgesic and anti-exudative effects of D-Na and Ib. Thus, compositions of D-Na and Ib with caffeine were experimentally studied for the first time. Suitability of compositions is proved and application in inflammation and pain of various origins is demonstrated. Results can serve as foundation for development of new domestic combined drugs with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
