In this regard, the incidence of cardiovascular, central nervous, endocrine systems, etc. increases at certain stages of individual development. Taking into account the fact that the development of stress-caused lesions is associated with accumulation of carbonyl products of free radical oxidation in cells, we have suggested that the one of the reasons for this phenomenon is age-related changes in the efficiency of the scavenging of endogenous aldehydes in the organism. In view of this fact, spectrum of aldo-keto reductases in blood serum of rats at different stages of ontogenesis was investigated by means of electrophoresis. Identical changes in the composition of aldo-keto reductases spectrum of blood in early immature age and in aging have been shown. Change in aldo-keto reductases spectrum modulates the role of reductive pathway of endogenous aldehydes scavenging in the organism. Thus, in child age and aging efficiency of scavenging of carbonyl products of free radical oxidation in cells is limited and especially when they are intensively produced. This results in increase of the susceptibility of the organism to oxidative stressItem Age-dependent peculiarities modulation of activity of aldehyde scavenger enzymes in mitochondria of rat thigh muscle during stress(2016) Davydov, Vadim; Grabovetskaya, Evgeniya; Hamdallah, AmjadThe purpose of this study was a comparative investigation of activity of aldehyde scavenger enzymes in mitochondrial fraction of a thigh muscle in intact and immobilized rats of different ages. It has been shown that 12-month-old (adult) rats have high basal levels of aldehyde dehydrogenase, aldehyde reductase and glutathione transferase activity in mitochondrial fraction of thigh muscle. Aldehyde dehydrogenase activity increases during immobilization stress in adult rats. This change promote to enhance the effectiveness of utilization of carbonyl products of free radical oxidation in mitochondria of skeletal muscle of 12-month-old rats during stress. Immobilization of old and pubertal rats is accompanied by metabolic preconditions leading to accumulation of endogenous aldehydes in mitochondria, and, as a result, to the injury of muscular fibers and intensification of sarcopenia manifestations.Item Age-related peculiarities of change in content of free radical oxidation products in muscle during stress(2014-08) Davydov, Vadim; Hamdallah, Amjad; Grabovetskaya, EvgeniyaThe age-dependent peculiarities of stimulation of free radical processes in subcellular fractions of skeletal muscle of rats subjected to long-term immobilization stress were studied in order to improve knowledge about changes of muscular tissue during ontogenesis. It is found that adult animals do not show accumulation of proteins carbonyls, TBA-reactive substances, and Schiff bases in subcellular fractions of the thigh muscle when immobilized. Long-term immobilization causes apparent manifestation of oxidative stress only in mitochondrial fraction in pubertal rats. Mitochondrial oxidative stress defense systems are sufficiently effective, however, direction of pathways of free radical oxidation carbonyl products catabolism alters in the cytoplasm of myocytes in old rats under long-term immobilization conditions.Item Allostatic response of the living organism on the toxic influence of Hydroxyethylated Alkyl- and Isononylphenols(2012) Nakonechnaya, Svetlana; Zovsky, Vyacheslav; Naglov, AleksandrThe effect of neonols АФ 9-12 and АФС 9-6 КМ on peculiarities of response of the animal organism to the toxic stress in a subacute experiment on white Wistar rats has been studied. A pronounced effect on the dynamics of catecholamines and their precursors, and also significant decrease in blood cell composition are discovered. Leukocytes are found to be the most damaged system for both xenobiotics. The toxic doses are set at 1/10 and 1/100 DL50. The long-term administration of toxicants causes allostatic response type as a sustainable stabilization of the functional state of the organism starting from 30 days. Item Amino acids, peptides and proteins(KhNMU, 2018) Levashova, OlgaItem Amino acids, peptides and proteins : Lecture 4(ХНМУ, 2018) Levashova, OlgaItem Amino acids, peptides, proteins(KhNMU, 2014) Syrovaya, Anna; Shapoval, Lyudmila; Petyunina, Valentina; Grabovetskaya,; Nakonechnaya, Svetlana; Lukianova, LarysaItem Analys of hydroxycinnamic acids pulsatilla pratensis (l.) mill(Medical University Varna, Bulgaria, 2017-10-27) Savelieva, Elena; Vladymyrova, Inna; Levashova, Olga; Shumova, GannaItem Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Coxibs and their Compositions with Caffeine on the Level of Conjugated Dienes in the Formalin-Induced Edema Model(Turkish Chemical Society, 2022) Syrova, Ganna; Petiunina, Valentina; Savelieva, Olena; Tishakova, Tetyana; Lukianova, LarysaThe development of novel pharmaceutical compositions, which are effective in the treatment of different inflammatory diseases and have a minimum number of side effects is very relevant. The aim of the present study was biochemical confirmation of anti-inflammatory activity of new pharmaceutical compositions comprising coxibs and caffeine. The level of conjugated dienes as primary products of lipid peroxidation has been evaluated in the plasma of rats at the acute inflammation caused by formalin. The white male rats of WAG line were used. The content of conjugated dienes was determined by spectrophotometric method. It was shown that combinations of caffeine and coxibs showed statistical significant decrease in the content of conjugated dienes in the rats’ blood plasma. Caffeine enriched anti-inflammatory action of coxibs effectively.Item Antibacterial cellulose acetate microfibers containing pyridine derivative complexes(Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2021-04) Demirdogen, Ruken Esra; Yesilkaynak, Tuncay; Tishakova, Tetyana; Emen, Fatih MehmetPyridine (L1) and 2,4-dimethylpyridine (L2) halide complexes of the type of [ML2X2] were prepared and characterized via FT-IR and 1H NMR.
