Item Morphological efficacy evaluation of gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops in case of complicated wound infection acne vulgaris(Aluna Publishing, 2021-01) Moiseienko, Tetiana; Torianyk, Inna; Khrystian, Gennadiy; Rybak, Viktoria; Voronkina, Iryna; Melnyk, Anatoliy; Merkulova, Nina; Mohylenets, Olena; Solomennyk, Ganna; Popova, Natalia; Ivannik, Victoria; Myroshnychenko, MykhailoThe aim of the study is to reveal in the experiment the morphological features of the infected skin wounds healing, which are a manifestation of acne vulgaris severe and very severe forms, using a gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops. Materials and methods: An experimental study was carried out on 80 male WAG rats of three months of age. The animals were divided into 9 groups. Group 1 consisted of intact animals ( n = 6 ) . Group 2 was represented by animals ( n = 6 ) , which had hair epilation on the dorsal surface of the body in an area of 1 cm2, followed by application of 2 ml of placebo gel to this area. Group 3 included animals ( n = 6 ) , which were epilated on the dorsal surface of the body in an area of 1 cm2 and applied 2 ml of 1 % gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops. Group 4 included rats ( n = 6 ) , which were epilated on the dorsal surface of the body in an area of 1 cm2 and simulated thermal damage. Group 5 was represented by 10 rats, who were epilated on the dorsal surface of the body in an area of 1 cm2, simulated thermal damage, followed by applying 2 ml of placebo gel to the wound surface. Group 6 included rats ( n = 1 0 ) , who underwent measures similar to group 5, followed by application of 2 ml of 1 % gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops to the wound surface. In group 7, there were 6 rats, which were epilated on the dorsal surface of the body in an area of 1 cm2, thermal damage to the skin with underlying soft tissues was simulated, followed by application to the wound surface the reference strainsof Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Proteus vulgaris, Propionibacterium acnes, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Malassezia slooffiae, Malasseziapachydermatis, Candida albicans, Candidaparapsilosis. In groups 8 and 9, there were 15 rats each, which underwent measures similar to group 7, followed by applying 2 ml of placebo gel on its surface on the next day after infection of the wound in group 8, and in group 9 - 2 ml of 1 % gel with carbon dioxide extract hops. The material for the study was the skin with underlying soft tissues. It was used histological, histochemical, morphometric and statistical methods. Results: This experimentally created gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops activates separation processes of horny masses from the surface of the epidermis, cleaning the pores of the skin; stimulating the proliferative activity of the epidermis, which is located in the marginal sections of the wound or covers the surface of the regenerate; activating the processes of cleansing the wound from necrotic tissue; activating the growth and maturation of granulation tissue with its subsequent transformation into connective tissue. It has antiinflammatory, bactericidal and antimycotic effects, normalizing skin microbiocenosis. Conclusions: The complex morphological study has showed that gel with carbon dioxide extract of hops is a highly effective drug in treatment of severe and very severe acne vulgaris, characterized by the development of deep and infected wound defects.Item Сlinical and laboratory characteristics of infectious mononucleosis caused by Epstein-Barr, effectiveness of treatment methods(2020) Yurko, Kateryna; Kozko, Volodymyr; Merkulova, Nina; Моhylenets, Olena; Khrystenko, NadiaThe efficacy of combined use of Valacyclovir and Nuclex in complex therapy of patients with infectious mononucleosis caused by Epstein - Barr virus (EBV) was studied. The use of such therapy was found to promotes regression of clinical symptoms, contribute to normalization of indices of clinical blood tests and lead to a decrease of the number of EVB's DNA copies in the blood serum or complete elimination of virus.Item Measles in hospitalized adults in Kharkiv region(2019) Yurko, K.; Mohylenets, Olena; Nartov, P.; Dontsova, O.; Merkulova, Nina; Ivanova, V.; Yekimova, N.; Harbuz, D.Analysis of epidemiolodical, gender-age, clinical and laboratory features of adult measles in Kharkiv region during 2018 outbreak was conductedItem Dialectics of medical and society interaction: development prospects(2018) Lantukh, A.; Merkulova, Nina; Solomennyk, A.; Mohylenets, OlenaThe article reveals that on the basis of modern interaction of medicine and society, the nature of human’s disease is increasingly determined by social causes, so the Hippocratic model has already been worked out and the transition to a self-regulatory and preventive model becomes relevant. However, modern society more and more requires genetic engineering. It is interested in genomic analysis, gene therapy, and hence the issue of genetic safety is becoming even more acute, especially in aspects of identifying the risk factors for genetic pathology and preparing recommendations for their prevention. Therefore, in the depths of self-regulatory and preventive model, predictive medicine emerges as a protection of human life that prevents the risk of disease and the transmission of diseases to subsequent generations. This encourages further transformation of medicine model, namely, the preventive. In comparison with preventive medicine, it has a larger volume, more filled with social content. Preventive medicine must prevent unwanted illnesses; respond instantly to all technical inventions that are directly related to the person, protection and preservation of his health. Therefore, precisely in preventive medicine some efforts of not only physicians can and should be merged, but also of other specialists: physicists, chemists, biologists, philosophers, theologians and other specialists.Item Problems of early malaria diagnostics in non-endemic countries(2018) Kozko, Volodymyr; Mohylenets, Olena; Makhmudov, Yu.; Merkulova, Nina; Yekimova, N.Analysis of clinical and epidemiolodical features of malaria in Kharkiv region was perfomed. Main reasons of malaria misdiagnosis on early terms of the disease were revealed. Practical recommendations were done.Item The doctor and the patient: relationship modus(2017) Lantukh, A.; Merkulova, Nina; Solomennik, G.; Mohylenets, OlenaThe article addresses the problem of the doctor and the patient, beginning with the medicine of Hippocratic model up to the present time. The authors analyze the transformation of the relationships between the doctor and the patient beginning with ancient times up to the classical medicine requirements and then to nowadays, trace minimization of these relationships and disappearance of their humanistic potential, necessary and so essential for whatever medicine model. The idea of solidarity between colleagues was the integral element of the profession traditional interpretation. Belonging to the profession presupposed the necessity to observe the rule which today is characterized as corporatism. It means that medics were in agreement not to compete, but to give a support to each other. Such loyalty between colleagues might, however, turn out harmful for those whom they had sworn to serve, that is their patients. For instance, doctors’ refusal to raise the alarm over cases of their colleagues’ incompetence or corruption indicated deformation of the notion of medical professionalism. Though nowadays innovative medical technologies increase the distance between the doctor and the patient, humanistic doctor – patient relationship will always be an effective modus of their cooperation for the patient benefit.Item Diagnostic value of statistic hepatic scintigraphy in definition of chronic hepatitis and viral cirrhosis of the liver(2015-03-30) Kozko, Volodymyr; Merkulova, Nina; Tkachenko, V.; Gradil, Grigory; Solomennik, A.; Lavrov, P.; Paskevich, O.; Wickman, Y.; Vasiliev, L.Item Biochemical manifestations of liver affection in patients with infectious mononucleosis(2014-03) Mohylenets, Olena; Kozko, Volodymyr; Merkulova, Nina; Bondarenko, A.; Solomennik, G.; Iurko, Kateryna; Nikitina, V.; Vinokurova, O.Item Effectiveness of the drug phosphogliv in patients with chronic hepatitis C(2014-03) Kozko, Volodymyr; Solomennik, G.; Bondar, O.; Mohylenets, Olena; Merkulova, Nina; Vinokurova, O.; Iurko, Kateryna; Minakova, S.
