English for International Exams. Learning guide for practical classes

Abstract

The authors of the Learning guide for practical classes aimed to prepare domestic medical students to take international exams in English by practicing the skills of writing test tasks, forming reading skills and developing language skills. The Learning guide for practical classes consists of twelve chapters. Each section contains a text for reading, selected from authentic popular science literature and abbreviated taking into account the requirements of the foreign language teaching methodology, as well as tasks for consolidating the skills of using English grammar and vocabulary. The topics of the sections cover situations of everyday communication. The Learning guide for practical classes is designed for students who have speaking skills at the B1+ level in accordance with European recommendations on language education.
