Item A Study of the Effect of Specific Antibacterial Therapy on the Course of Tuberculous Spondylitis in an Experiment(2024) Holka, H.; Vesnin, V.; Burlaka, V.; Oliynyk, A.; Fadeev, O.; Hoptsii, O.; Frolova-Romaniuk, E.Objective — to assess the impact of modern antibacterial therapy on the development of a specific destructive process in experimental tuberculous spondylitis in animals. Based on the histological examination of the vertebral bodies, it was established that the animals treated with specific first-line ABD showed clear morphological features of tuberculous inflammation. In animals treated with specific second-line ABD, inhibition of the pathological process. This study showed that the implementation of modern intensive specific antibacterial therapy in experimental conditions allows to achieve the delimitation of the destructive process in the relatively early stages of the disease development (4—5 weeks). The obtained new knowledge about the pathomorphological features of the course of TS against the background of carrying out specific antibacterial therapy allows radical surgical interventions on the musculoskeletal system without the risk of generalization of the tuberculosis process at an earlier time (compared with the generally accepted ones).Item The experience in tuberculous spondylitis treatment taking into account the susceptibility of mycobacteria tuberculosis to antibacterial medicines(The experience in tuberculous spondylitis treatment taking into account the susceptibility of mycobacteria tuberculosis to antibacterial medicines / G. G. Golka, V. V. Vesnin, V. V. Burlaka, A. O. Oliinyk, O. G. Fadeev, E. Yu. Frolova-Romaniuk, O. V. Goptsii // Tuberculosis, Lung Diseases, HIV Infection (Ukraine). ─ 2023. ─ Vol. 1. ─ P. 29─36. ─ DOI: http://doi. org/10.30978/TB-2023-1-29., 2023-03) Golka, G.; Vesnin, V.; Burlaka, V.; Oliinyk, A.; Fadeev, O.; Frolova-Romaniuk, Elina; Goptsii, OlenaThe new method of TS treatment in the main group compared to traditional standards of surgical interventions in the control group allowed: 1) to avoid the progression of TS, the development of complications of the disease (p < 0.05) and complications related to the transplant (fractures, displacement of the autograft, cage) (p < 0.05), in the early postoperative period; 2) significantly increase the effectiveness of treatment due to an increase in excellent results (46.7 and 26.7 %, respectively) and a decrease in satisfactory (13.3 and 23.3 %) and unsatisfactory (0.0 and 10.0 %; p < 0.05) of the results in the remote terms of observation; 3) significantly shorten the inpatient stage of treatment ((96 ± 12) and (190 ± 21) bed-days; p < 0.001).Item The Results of Surgical Treatment of Patients with Active Tuberculous Spondylitis(2022) Голка, Г.Г.; Фадєєв, О.Г.; Олійник, А.О.; Бурлака, В.В.; Веснін, В.В.; Литвишко, В.О.; Golka, G.; Vesnin, V.; Burlaka, V.; Oliinyk, A.; Fadeev, O.; Litvishko, V.; Frolova-Romaniuk, E.Проведено аналіз результатів оперативного лікування 60 пацієнтів з активним туберкульозним спондилітом. Item Improvement of the Effectiveness of Treatment Patients with Tuberculosis Spondylitis(2021) Holka, H.; Vesnin, V.; Burlaka, V.; Oliinyk, A.; Fadieiev, O.The protocols of clinical and radiological examination, analysis of treatment of 60 patients with active tuberculous spondylitis have become the clinical material of this study. The main group included patients (n = 30) with TS of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae operated with the use of a sliding titanium cage for ventral intercostal spondylodesis. The comparison group includes patients (n = 30) using traditional approaches to the surgical treatment of the TS. The comparative study of the effectiveness of treatment of patients of the main and control group with TS showed that the use of the proposed technique in patients of the main group made it possible to significantly improve the results of treatment. Tuberculosis spondylitis (TS) in the structure of bone-joint tuberculosis in adults occupies a leading position and reaches 40 - 61.5% and it presents the great medical and social problemItem Dorsopathy : manuals in discipline "Traumatology and orthopedics" for self-study of 5th year students(KhNMU, 2021) Holka, H.; Oliynyk, A.; Istomin, D.Dorsopathy (degenerative disc diseases) ‒ is a disease of the spine, which is based on primary dystrophies and degenerative process of the intervertebral disc (IVD), with the further development of reactive and compensatory changes intervertebral joints and ligaments, and then in the adjacent vertebral bodies and , as a result , totally defeat all elements of vertebrates at ‒ motor segment . At present, people aged 45 years often restrict their activities because of constant pain in the back and neck. The prevalence of chronic back pain is 26‒32 % among the adult population. In the structure of morbidity with disability of the adult population more than 50 % are diseases of the peripheral nervous system. Among the disabled with diseases of the peripheral nervous system in 80 % of cases occur by vertebral affection. Back pain is an extremely common human phenomenon, a price mankind has to pay for their upright posture. According to one study, almost 80 percent of persons in modern industrial society will-experience back pain at some time during their life. Fortunately, in 70 per cent of these, it subsides within a month. But, in as many as 70 per cent of these, the pain recursItem Biomechanical substantiation for external fixation of the pelvis using rods with different thread hands(KhNMU, 2021) Istomin, Andrii; Kovalyov, S.; Zhuravliov, V.; Istomin, Dmytro; Karpinskiy, Ì.The results of medical rehabilitation ofpatients with consequences of unstable pelvicfractures (UPF) depend upon many factors, among which the strength of fixation of thefragments that makes possible early recovery ofthe staticodynamic function of the lower girdle isparticularly important,External fixation rod devices are widely usedin treating fresh UPF and their consequences, but it is not always that strength characteristicsof these devices make it possible to realize moderntendencies in medical rehabilitation, which call forearly verticalization of the patients and use ofconstant passive movement and application ofelectromechanical splints. This is explained by thefact that in patients with UPF, who have underwentexternal osteosynthesis with a rod device, bothaxial load and repeated cycles of hip flexion andextension reduce the strength of rod fixation inthe iliac bone.Item Analysis of the prevalence of femoral fractures due to the car accidents depending on age, sex and location(ХНМУ, 2020-10-08) Timoshenko, Darya; Dobrovolska, OlenaThere are many factors that contribute to the risk of a hip fracture. The prevalence of hip fractures after an accident according to the gender, age, and fracture location was analyzed. According to the results, it can be concluded that the prevalence of fractures, mainly of the right femur, especially its middle part, is characteristic of young men (aged 18 to 25 years). The prevalence of these fractures at a young age coincides with the onset of driving, non-compliance with traffic rules, as well as the largest proportion of car accidents in this age group. At the same time, the increased prevalence of proximal fractures in women may be associated with early osteoporosis under the influence of sex hormones, pregnancy and requires further research.Item Development of postmenopausal osteoporosis: pathophysiology and possible theraputical ways(ХНМУ, 2020-10-08) Ovsiannikova, Kseniia; Smoliar, StanislavDespite popular belief, treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis could not have done with vitamin D or injections of calcium (considering the fact that abundance of calcium organism would fix with increasing its excretion by kidneys). While antioxidants, hormone replacement therapy and specific inhibitors of mentioned cytokines are able to treat and to stop the development of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Item Tretment of osteoporosis against the backgraund of bronchial asthma(ХНМУ, 2020-12-27) Kyrychenko, Yana; Kolesnikova, YuliiaAsthma and osteoporosis are linked. Asthma sufferers have a higher risk of developing osteoporosis for several reasons. The medicinal treatment for osteoporosis consists of taking one of the existing drugs: bisphosphonate, calcitonin, estrogen, parathyroid hormone (hormone therapy). Glucocorticoids are preferably inhaled, at the lowest possible dose that can control bronchial asthma symptomsItem Physical stimulation of reparative osteogenesis(KhNMU, 2020-10-07) Ankutova, Anna; Atai Said
