    Method of treatment of genital endometriosis with preservation of fertility in Nigeria

    The use of IVF in women with endometriosis related infertility is effective for most women but still may not work for some. The use of hormones in IVF is effective to treat the infertility but other forms of hormonal therapy are not so successful. These hormones do not cure the endometriosis lesions and so, the pain may reappear after pregnancy.

    The effect of hysteroscopic adhesiolysis as a method of treatment for Asherman’s syndrome in Higeria

    Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis aided by transabdominal ultrasonography is a suitable treatment method for Asherman’s syndrome, adequate management of this syndrome provides the best possible outcomes in poor-prognosis women with severe Asherman’s syndrome. Hysteroscopic adhesiolysis of IUAs is safe and effective in terms of reproductive outcome.

    Endometriosis as a cause of infertility in Nigerian women

    The prevalence of Endometriosis is said to have been low in African women, but in recent years more African women are diagnosed with Endometriosis every day. Laparoscopic examination revealed that about 30% of women who present with infertility in Nigeria are diagnosed with Endometriosis.

    The methods of hormonal correction of oxidative stress in infertility women

    The preventive course of melatonin hormone therapy, which has a active antioxidant effect, increases the number of oocytes in patients associated by the low ovarian reserve. It may be advisable to prescribe melatonin as preventive course before IVF procedure.

    Modern aspect of diagnostics and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome in nigerian women

    PCOS is quite common occurring in approximately two in five infertile Nigerian women or women presenting with oligomenorrhea or amenorrhea. Commonest presenting features being Infertility, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, obesity, LH/FSH ratio > 2, hyperprolactinemia and hirsutism.

    Endometriosis influence on fertility

    Based on the received data, we can consider that occurrence of infertility during the endometriosis depends both on the changes of hormones and on the fallopian tubes patency. The detection of antibodies to the Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen within infertile patients demonstrates high specificity of endometriosis diagnosing.

    The interconnection of endometriosis and infertility

    Based on the received data, we can consider that occurrence of infertility during the endometrial cysts of ovaries depends both on the decrease of ovarial reserve and changes of hormones, and on the abnormality of fallopian tubes patency. The detection of antibodies to the Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen within in-fertile patients demonstrates high specificity of endometriosis diagnosing.
