Item Features of preconception preparetion of women with endometriomas(ХНМУ, 2023-02-13) Okhaigbe, Daniel OshokeEndometriosis is one of the causes of primary infertility. Most often, the diagnosis of endometriosis is established in the presence of endometrioid ovarian cysts, which are treated by surgical or conservative treatment with the staged usage of hormonal or anti-inflammatory drugs. Based on the work we have done, we came to the conclusion that the presence of endometriomas significantly affects the ovarian reserve and there is a risk of developing infertility of ovarian origin. When endometriomas are detected in women of reproductive age, careful monitoring of the ovarian reserve is necessary. With a decrease in anti-Müllerian hormone, it is recommended that the woman immediately implement the fertile function, and in the absence of such an opportunity, cryopreservation of oocytesItem Endometriosis as a cause of infertility in Nigerian women(KNMU, 2018-05-24) Olabintan, OluvabusyoThe prevalence of Endometriosis is said to have been low in African women, but in recent years more African women are diagnosed with Endometriosis every day. It has also resulted in a significant expansion of indications and contraindications for endoscopic interferences. Gynecologic laparoscopic surgery, previously used for diagnosis, trans- formed into radical and reconstructive pelvic surgery. Today about 80 % of all gynecological surgical abnormalities may be treated using endoscopic techniques. Based on the above, integration into global medicine requires from medical students an understanding of opportunities and technologies of new operational methods in gynecology.
