Analysis of the prevalence of femoral fractures due to the car accidents depending on age, sex and location
(ХНМУ, 2020-10-08) Timoshenko, Darya; Dobrovolska, Olena
There are many factors that contribute to the risk of a hip fracture. The prevalence of hip fractures after an accident according to the gender, age, and fracture location was analyzed. According to the results, it can be concluded that the prevalence of fractures, mainly of the right femur, especially its middle part, is characteristic of young men (aged 18 to 25 years). The prevalence of these fractures at a young age coincides with the onset of driving, non-compliance with traffic rules, as well as the largest proportion of car accidents in this age group. At the same time, the increased prevalence of proximal fractures in women may be associated with early osteoporosis under the influence of sex hormones, pregnancy and requires further research.

(2015-05-15) Юсіф, Адім Фаркед; Истомин, Дмитрий Андреевич; Adeem Farked Yousif Alani
The Issue of treatment of patients with spinal cord injury SCI , despite the progress made in trauma, is still relevant. After conservative treatment of persistent disability are 40% of the victims, which is almost 3 times higher than in the operated patients. Mortality from spinal cord injury SCI is more than 30%. Treatment of spinal cord injury in patients with multiple injuries should combine the principles of treatment of traumatic shock with early rigid fixation of bone fragments. Currently in the treatment of spinal cord injury SCI received active surgical tactics.

(2013-05-16) Istomin, Dmytro; Bitchuk, Dmytro; Oleynik, Anton
Emergency operative stabilization of pelvic external fixation device is needed as an essential component of therapy and anti-shock method, aiming at a strong fixation of bone fragments, which can be used as the primary stabilizing, and the ultimate way to treat patients with multiple injuries.
